최근 누리꾼들 사이에서는 ‘물 공포증 극복 훈련’, ‘맑은 물에서 물놀이 하기’ 등 여러 제목으로 영상 하나가 화제에 올랐다.
지난달 13일(현지 시간) 세계 여행가 톰슨(Tomson)이 자신의 공식 SNS 계정을 통해 공개한 영상으로, 필리핀 코론(Coron) 섬에 위치한 바라쿠다(Baraccuda) 호수에서 촬영한 것이다. 프리다이버들의 성지로 꼽히는 명소다.
영상은 수면을 정확히 카메라 렌즈 절반께에 놓고 촬영돼 실감을 더했다. 당연히 발은 바닥에 닿지 않는다.
(english below) 🇩🇪 Ich muss nochmal zurück zum Baraccuda Lake auf Coron Island kommen. Ein absolutes Highlight auf den Philippinen und für jeden Freediver ein Traumspot! Ruhiges Wasser in Verbindung mit klarer Sicht und beeindruckenden Felsformationen ist meiner Meinung nach eine sehr gute Kombination. Sieh selbst in dem kurzen Video und vergiss nicht den Mund danach wieder zu schließen 😦😁 Der See ist wahnsinnig Tief und wer es schafft bis zum Grund zu tauchen wird mit ca 41°C warmen Wasser belohnt 😁 Es ist eine richtig krasse Kante zwischen normaler Temperatur und dem heißen Springwater, ich habe mich etwas erschrocken als ich diese Schicht durchtaucht habe, also sei hiermit gewarnt 😅😁 Ich empfehle außerdem, selbst mit dem Kanu dort hin zu fahren, damit du dir so viel Zeit nehmen kannst wie du es willst, denn die Touren sind dort meist nur ein paar Minuten. Gegen Mittag waren wir sogar komplett alleine an diesem See – UNBESCHREIBLICH! ❤ . ++++++++++ . 🇺🇸 I have to go back again to Baraccuda Lake on Coron Island. An absolutely highlight in the Philippines and a dream spot for every freediver! Calm water combined with clear views and impressive rock formations is in my opinion a very good combination. 😁 See yourself in the short video and don’t forget to close your mouth again afterwards 😦😁 The lake is incredibly deep and anyone who manages to dive to the ground will be rewarded with 41°C warm water 😁 It is a really blatant edge between normal temperature and the hot springwater, I was a bit scared when I dived through this layer, so be warned 😅😁 I also recommend to go there by canoe/kayak, so you can take as much time as you want, because the tours are usually only a few minutes there. 끝이 보이지 않는 깊이의 물은 더이상 투명할 수 없을 정도로 맑고, 그로 인해 절벽 아래 바위 모양이 그대로 비친다.
발로 물장구를 치는 톰슨의 움직임에 따라 바뀐 카메라 각도에서는 더욱 끝을 알 수 없는 깊이의 물 아래가 보인다. 영상에 들리는 소리라고는 물속의 고요함 뿐이다.
영상과 함께 톰슨은 “맑은 물과 바위의 조화가 인상적”이라며 “나도 조금 무서웠는데, 그래도 추천하긴 한다. 카약 체험 같은 것도 있다”고 귀띔했다.
영상은 폭발적인 조회 수를 기록했으며 해외를 넘어 국내 누리꾼들 사이에도 퍼졌다. 영상을 접한 많은 누리꾼은 “보기만 해도 무섭다”며 물 공포증이 없다가도 생기겠다는 반응을 보였다.
